We set out on a Canada Day hike to the beautiful Illal Meadows in the Coquihalla Summit Recreation Area in Hope BC. However, our trip didn't go as planned as we ran into a few dangers along the way, including rainstorms and bears!

However, this trip only enforced the belief that no matter how cliche-- its not about the destination, it's about the journey!
