I was surprised and delighted reconnecting with someone I hadn't seen for many years, in college we both were perceived as masculine women, and later we both transitioned. Before we met up I thought we would both have similar stories about being men and having dysphoria, but I was delighted to learn that my friend had a much different relationship, perspective and process regarding gender identity. So it's like, wow, to transgender people BUT TOTALLY DIFFERENT! I love it. This kind of diversity breaks all assumptions and walls, it kind of shows-- just as in the cis world, in the trans world there are all kinds, you can't make assumptions...
