Everyone has a different timeline for transition. I interview Austin who took his time to understand himself, otherwise he would have felt rushed and anxious about transition. He wanted to be sure, even when people listening to him talk about gender identity felt like saying, "Start T already!" It isn't anyone else's decision to make. Every transgender person has a process of self discovery. There is no RIGHT or WRONG way to be transgender or transition. Everyone is the captain of their own ship in the journey of life.
