This footage is the first time I have EVER talked openly about being trans with my parents. It was very hard to do, but the love was strong and I was impressed. To feel acceptance from family is very important. I think this shows that I held more fear about what my parents would think, when really all they wanted was for me to be happy. Wow. Think about it: Our parents love us and want us to be happy.
