Chats with Kathe is a video series, which provides transgender people with a platform to share their stories.

Alyssa is a software engineer with over 15 years of experience. Since her transition 6 years ago, she has been focused on empowering members of marginalized communities in the US, primarily by improving access to economic opportunities in the tech industry. For better or for worse, being read as a femme, binary woman is a key precursor to safety and success in these endeavors. Prior to consulting with Kathe Perez, she worked on her voice for a long time with limited success. While there is always room for improvement, Kathe has helped tremendously in advancing towards her goals.
