It was groundbreaking in that it was the first time an Indian post-operative transgender person came out on national television. This segment also contains an interview with Prof. Ilancheran, Singapore's pioneering gynaecologist in female-to-male sex reassignment surgery. He was an understudy of the legendary Prof. S. Shan Ratnam in male-to-female sex reassignment surgery in the early days of such operations in Singapore.
